This competition aims to highlight the breathtaking natural wonders of the Far East and Arctic, as well as boost active leisure enthusiasts and travelers. The competition spans across four captivating categories: hiking (including off-road cycling and more), water (featuring river rafting, marine life, diving, surfing, and more), winter activities (skiing, dog sledding, winter cycling, snowboarding, and more), and a brand-new category - Arctic travel! Adventurers are encouraged to pick their preferred mode of transport, motorized vehicles, however, are a strict no-no. 🚗🏔️🌊
The grand prize for the best video about an adrenaline-pumping expedition in the Far East or Arctic is a hefty 3 million rubles! Standing victorious in one of the categories could fetch you 1 million rubles, with second place earning 300,000 rubles each, and third place netting 100,000 rubles each. The expert jury, consisting of tourism and media professionals, will evaluate the entrants' travel videos. This fantastic opportunity is open to both children from the age of 10 (under adult supervision) and adults, with no age cap.👨👩👦
Your adventure must be completed between May 1, 2023, and January 15, 2026. Applications are accepted until January 15, 2026, with the deadline for the previous season being extended. One condition for participating in the competition is to inform EMERCOM about your route if it passes through perilous terrain, water, mountains, or speleological sites associated with increased risks to life. The first and second season's experiences have demonstrated that this competition resonates with both seasoned professionals and enthusiastic adventurers. The second season's results were revealed in March 2025 at the National Center "Russia", with a total of 664 applications received - tripling the number from the first season. Finalists' and winners' films are aired on regional TV channels, with federal-level screenings also planned. 📺🌐
