Aschaffenburg's 'Blaulichtmeile' Showcases Emergency Services on Sept 28
Aschaffenburg's blue light organizations are set to showcase their services and equipment at the 'Blaulichtmeile' event on Sunday, September 28. The event, organized by Oberbürgermeister Jürgen Herzing, will take place at Schlossplatz and promises a day filled with demonstrations, interactive activities, and information about various emergency services.
Visitors can expect to see a wide range of vehicles and equipment on display. The Technical Relief Agency (THW) will showcase a tipper with a workshop, a truck, a flood rescue vehicle, and a pavilion for fishing. The volunteer fire department will demonstrate home fire safety, air rescue, and firefighting vehicles, including a command vehicle. The police will display an electric bike, police motorcycle, patrol car, and a VW bus.
The Bavarian Red Cross will offer German bone marrow donation information, blood pressure measurement, ambulances, rescue equipment, and a drone. Reservists will showcase military vehicles, a children's obstacle course, and uniforms from the past and present. The event will also feature demonstrations of traffic accidents and floods, as well as a search for missing persons.
The 'Blaulichtmeile' event in Aschaffenburg is a unique opportunity for the public to learn about the vital work of the city's blue light organizations.
