Rhineland-Palatinate Increases Support for Inclusion Enterprises
The Integration Office in Rhineland-Palatinate has significantly boosted its financial backing for Inclusion Enterprises over the past five years. In 2019, the expenditure stood at approximately 7.63 million euros, a figure that rose to around 13.5 million euros in 2024, according to a response from the state's Ministry of Labour to a parliamentary inquiry by Green MP Daniel Köbler.
The surge in funds is attributed, in part, to growing wage levels. The Ministry acknowledged that the Integration Office has intensified its support for Inclusion Enterprises due to the economic challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, energy crisis, and inflation.

The Integration Office encourages aspiring founders of Inclusion Enterprises and subsequently finances investment cost subsidies of up to 30,000 euros per employed person with disabilities. Additionally, they provide ongoing personnel cost subsidies and a monthly flat rate of 350 euros per employed person with disabilities.
