Costain Appoints Simon Ellison as New Rail Sector Director

Costain, a leading UK engineering solutions provider, has appointed Simon Ellison as its new rail sector director. Ian Parker, managing director of transportation, praised Ellison's contributions to the UK's future transport infrastructure.

Ellison, a chartered engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers, brings extensive experience to his new role. He joined Costain in 1997 and has since held several senior leadership positions within the company.

Previously serving as commercial director, Ellison has now been tasked with shaping and expanding Costain's rail infrastructure delivery expertise. His responsibilities will include driving forward digital signalling, electrification programs, and technology integration in the rail sector.
