Dubai Chambers Strengthens Ties with Ireland, Boosting Trade and Investment
Dubai Chambers has strengthened economic ties with Ireland following a high-level trade mission to Dublin. The visit, part of the 'Growth Corridors' initiative, focused on expanding cooperation across various sectors and deepening Dubai's engagement with Ireland.
The delegation, led by Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori, Chairman of Dubai Chambers, explored opportunities in investments, financial services, transport and logistics, venture capital, digital industries, and innovation. They visited key innovation hubs such as Dogpatch Labs, Guinness Enterprise Center, and NovaUCD, and met senior officials from Enterprise Ireland, Dublin Chamber of Commerce, and other key agencies.
Trade between Dubai and Ireland has shown significant growth, reaching AED4.1 billion in 2024, a 20 percent increase from the previous year. Al Mansoori highlighted Dubai Chambers' support for Irish companies looking to establish a presence in Dubai, offering assistance in connecting with partners and fostering joint projects. By mid-2025, 62 new Irish companies joined Dubai Chamber, bringing the total to 460 active Irish member companies. Opportunities for Irish entrepreneurs were highlighted in Dubai's digital economy and future-facing sectors.
The Dubai Chambers' trade mission to Ireland has further bolstered the economic relationship between the two countries. With trade volumes increasing and Irish companies continuing to join Dubai Chamber, both nations stand to benefit from enhanced cooperation and investment in key sectors.
