Dubai's Expo City and Dubai Culture Join Forces for Dhai Dubai 2025 Initiative

The second edition of Dhai Dubai, an Emirati-led light art exhibition, will be presented from 12-18 November 2025. The event will take place at Al Wasl Plaza in Expo City Dubai, marking a significant cultural moment for the city.

This year's edition of Dhai Dubai includes artist talks and public dialogues, which will take place at the new House of Arts venue in Expo City Dubai. The venue, dates, and organizers of the event are confirmed.

The exhibition features seven new commissions by Emirati artists across three generations, showcasing a blend of heritage and contemporary creativity through immersive light sculptures. The artists involved are Fatma Lootah, Mohammed Kazem, Khalid AlBanna, Alia Bin Omair, AlZaina Lootah, Ahmed Al Areef Al Dhaheri, and Hessa Alghandi.

Dhai Dubai acts as a flagship initiative of Expo City Dubai and exemplifies a key partnership with Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. It aims to empower Emirati artists, nurture the creative economy, boost cultural tourism, and position Dubai as a global arts capital by blending legacy and innovation in public art.
