For the summer of 2025, this nine-week campaign will run from June 17 to August 17, aiming to raise awareness about sustainable travel. The program will now encompass over 90 attractions, tripling the number of related activities from the previous year's pilot project.

Those venturing into Copenhagen by train will be greeted with incentives like free bike rentals, yoga classes, guided tours, or discounted entry fees to popular attractions. The initiative is all about encouraging shorter stays and sustainable travel choices.
As explained by Søren Tegen Pedersen, CEO of Wonderful Copenhagen, "CopenPay is redefining how we approach tourism in Copenhagen." The goal is not just to bring more visitors, but to foster environmental responsibility within the travel industry, reducing the carbon footprint caused by tourism.
