Pobeda Airlines has announced the launch of its new service between St. Petersburg and Krasnodar, with the first flight scheduled for September 26. The airline will operate four weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, using Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
The basic tariff for a one-way ticket from Krasnodar to St. Petersburg on September 26 is ₽6,999, while the basic tariff for the return journey is ₽6,999 as well. The maximum tariff for the same flight is ₽8,999, and the minimum is ₽5,999. It is important to note that this ticket price includes only carry-on luggage.
Meanwhile, the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) will monitor the prices for flights from Moscow to Krasnodar, as reportedly, the prices for the first flight from Moscow to Krasnodar have increased to ₽50,000, according to Yuga.ru.
For those looking to travel from St. Petersburg to Sochi directly on September 26, options include Aeroflot, Smartavia, or Ural Airlines. However, Pobeda Airlines does not offer direct flights from St. Petersburg to Sochi.
In a separate development, flights from St. Petersburg to Krasnodar starting from September 19 are currently being operated by Aeroflot on a daily basis. Other airlines such as S7 Airlines and Smartavia have expressed interest in resuming flights to Krasnodar and are undergoing approvals, but no specific start dates have been announced yet.
Ticket prices for a flight from St. Petersburg to Krasnodar on September 26 start from ₽3,999, while tickets from St. Petersburg to Sochi without baggage cost from ₽6,633. From Sochi to St. Petersburg on the same day, tickets start at ₽22,295.
The flight time between St. Petersburg and Krasnodar will be 5 hours and 5 minutes. For those planning a trip, it's best to book early to secure the best available fares.
