Hotel conglomerate reveals plans to debut extended-stay venue, touted as a groundbreaking establishment.

In response to the growing demand for extended-stay travel, Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. (HLTH) has announced its latest venture, LivSmart Studios by Hilton. This new brand caters specifically to long-stay guests, such as traveling nurses and relocating workers, offering a Hilton experience tailored for every traveler and every stay occasion.

The demand for extended-stay travel has increased due to various factors. Labor mobility and flexible housing needs, healthcare needs, project crews, and construction, as well as the preference for comfort and value, have all contributed to the surge in demand for extended-stay hotels.

Hilton, with its history of building innovative, category-leading brands, has chosen to expand its extended-stay presence with the LivSmart Studios brand. The appeal of extended-stay hotels, including their ability to provide a home-like experience, makes them a strategic investment opportunity for hotel chains like Hilton.

The first LivSmart Studios by Hilton property has opened in Tullahoma, Tennessee. This 89-room property offers studio-apartment-like rooms equipped with kitchenettes, a laundry room, an outdoor patio with grills, and a gym. The location was chosen for its leadership in flight and aviation research and nearby cultural attractions.

Isaac Lake, brand leader of LivSmart Studios by Hilton, stated that the brand was born from a bold vision to meet the growing demand for accessible, high-quality accommodations tailored for longer stays. Chris Silcock, Hilton's president of global brands and commercial services, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing Hilton's commitment to innovation and category leadership.

The LivSmart Studios brand is not limiting itself to Tullahoma. Later this summer, a second property will open in Kokomo, Indiana. As the brand continues to grow, it aims to set a new standard for long-stay hospitality and expand into more communities.

The stock price for Hilton Worldwide Holdings Inc. as of July 8, 2025, is $272.45. This expansion into the extended-stay market could contribute to further growth for the company, as extended-stay hotels offer a consistent revenue stream that is less affected by the cyclicality of the broader hotel industry.

This latest venture by Hilton represents a strategic move to cater to the evolving needs of travelers and workers requiring flexible accommodations. The LivSmart Studios brand is poised to become a significant player in the extended-stay market, offering a fresh new approach to long-stay travel.

The growing preference for extended-stay travel by various professionals, such as traveling nurses and relocating workers, increases the need for credit to secure housing solutions like LivSmart Studios by Hilton. As the economy adapts to the changing lifestyle demands, investments in extended-stay hotels, such as the LivSmart Studios brand by Hilton, can provide a worthy opportunity for long-term financial growth.
