International Gathering Set for November 18 at Park University
On November 18, 2022, Park University's International Festival will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Park Avenue area within the Academic Underground on the Parkville Campus. This exciting event, hosted by the Office of International Student Services, is free and open to the public, offering a unique opportunity to experience the rich diversity of cultures represented at the university.
The International Festival will feature an international buffet, serving dishes from each continent, for a cost of $12 for the public. However, Park students and employees on a meal plan can enjoy the buffet free of charge with their Park ID.
The buffet is just one aspect of the festival. Visitors can also expect information booths, captivating performances, engaging cultural activities, and fashion shows, representing countries such as Bangladesh, Brazil, China, The Gambia, Ghana, India, Iran, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Mexico, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, Togo, Uganda, Uzbekistan, and Vietnam.
