Kazakhstan & Uzbekistan Launch 'Jibek Joly' Train for Cultural Tourism
Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have taken a significant step in boosting tourism and cultural ties with the launch of the 'Jibek Joly' tourist train. The train, a joint effort between National Carrier AO 'Passenger Transportation' and 'Uzbekistan Railways', departed from Almaty with over 100 passengers eager to explore the rich historical heritage of both nations.
The 'Jibek Joly' train is not just a mode of transport; it's a journey through history. It traverses major architectural and historical sites, including the magnificent mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi in Turkestan, the imposing Ark fortress in Uzbekistan, and the iconic Registan square in Samarkand.
