Ryanair Goes Fully Digital: No More Paper Boarding Passes from 12 Nov 2025
Ryanair is set to go fully digital with boarding passes from 12 November 2025. The airline will no longer accept printed paper versions, aiming to boost efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
The initial date of 3 November was pushed back to 12 November to ensure a smoother transition during a less busy travel period. Passengers will need to use the myRyanair app for live flight information, including gate details, flight status, and disruption alerts.
For those unable to access their digital boarding pass, Ryanair's customer service can provide assistance. Alternatively, passengers can obtain a physical boarding pass at the airport's check-in counter, if available. In Morocco, where paper boarding passes are mandatory, Ryanair will continue to offer printing services. Travellers are advised to check in online and generate their boarding pass via the app to avoid any inconvenience.
From 12 November, all Ryanair passengers must ensure they have the myRyanair app installed and updated, check in online, and store their boarding pass on their mobile device. This shift is expected to eliminate nearly all check-in fees and cut paper waste by around 300 tonnes annually.
