Tourists from Krasnodar get lost in the forest, enduring a near daylong rescue ordeal

In the town of Mostovsky district, six tourists found themselves in a sticky situation when they got lost during a hiking excursion in the forest. The group of six originated from Krasnodar and headed to the woods for relaxation, with a local resident portioning out transportation and guiding them to their destination. However, things took a turn for the worst when the driver couldn't return, leaving the tourists stranded without communication, necessary equipment, and in unfamiliar territory.

According to reports from the press service of "Kuban SPA," the local resident had driven the tourists across the Gurmay River, above Zatsypnaya Polyana, into a mountainous region. The driver's vehicle, unfortunately, broke down while crossing the mountain river on the way back, leaving the tourists without means of returning.

By the evening of May 4th, the missing tourists were reported to the rescuers. The search party faced difficult terrain due to the complex mountainous-forested area and the condition of one of the members who had sustained an injury. Undeterred, the rescuers from Psebaysky detachment pressed on and successfully found all six lost tourists on May 5th, evacuated them to safety.
